Welcome to The Waterline , my new jewellery collection, influenced and inspired by the sea and the ebb and flow of living and working beside it.

Above the Waterline tackles the tangibles of sailing and life at sea from code flags to anchor chains; Below the Waterline draws on the water’s more abstract aspects – the colours, the images, the feelings. In both collections, many – but by no means all – of the pieces are enamelled.

The waterline is that fluid boundary between the familiar world of reason and clarity and the shifting shapes and impressions of the hidden depths of our imaginations. That’s why I’ve taken it as the name for my current collection which falls into two broad themes: Above and Below the Waterline.
